Diamond Laboratory

Processed gravel / loam / bulk concentrate samples are scanned in this laboratory to prove the incidence of diamond within the primary kimberlite/ lamproite rocks. Bulk samples collected from different locations have been processed and final concentrates scanned in the diamond laboratory out of which the Kalmidadar lamproite pipe has been proved to be diamondiferous. A total of 106 nos. of diamond grains varying from 1 cent to 2.11 carat with total weight of 28.855 carats have been collected from the bulk sample concentrates of the Kalmidadar diamondiferous olivine lamproite in this diamond laboratory.
